To be honest I'm not that much into narrative games and therefore I didn't have the patience to read through it. I'm not your target audience and that's fine^^ That being said I like the format itself, it's almost a little advent calendar where you could reveal the next 'box' every day leading up to the finale. There's definitely potential to build on it! For example you could have branching paths (think "Choose your own Adventure" games) or have some boxes contain a minigame instead of text only. Even though I couldn't get myself to read it all, I very much enjoyed the art and music - well done! :)
What is the name of this type of game? It is not so much a browser game.
I didn't get much of the story, but considering the style I think the idea is not so much to understand the story as to get carried away. The aesthetics are nice, the illustrations hit the nail on what the story was looking for, and the music accompanies very well.
Good job, I'm sure you can do interesting things with this format!
Thank you very much for the feedback, so glad the overall effect worked for you. And thank you for checking out all these games :) As for a name for the type of game – still trying to figure out what to call it myself, or I’d tell you XD.
